Mesotherapy

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is also known as “Micro-needling” – meaning that it is a non-surgical and insignificantly intrusive cosmetic procedure that involves thousands of meticulous microinjections into the middle layer of the skin. This is achieved by using various pharmaceuticals, medicines, vitamins, and amino acids in order to treat the skin.

This approach can be used to diminish cellulite, promotes fat reduction, treats aging and sagging skin, and works to revitalize the look of your hands and neck. Mesotherapy may also assist in renewal of hair growth for both men and women suffering from hair loss.

The contents of the mixture used in Mesotherapy vary in harmony with each unique client and specific areas that need to be treated.

With Mesotherapy, nearly every area of the body can be injected. This includes, but is not limited to, the face, neck, chest, hands, abdomen, scalp and thighs depending on the area of concern.

How does it work?

By providing mechanical stimulus to the skin, micro-needling leads higher concentration of growth factors and enhanced collagen and elastin production with minimal recovery time.

What are Mesotherapy's anti-aging and skin rejuvenation uses?

Dermal or Sub-dermal Skin Rejuvenation Solution injections are used to rejuvenate the cells, causing them to be more active, and therefore encouraging the assembly of new collagen and elastin.

Skin rejuvenation solution ingredients include: Multivitamins, Hyaluronic acid, Oligopeptides, Minerals and Aminoacids.

By increasing collagen and elastin synthesis, increasing skin hydration and using an antioxidant agent, Mesotherapy will moisturize and smooth the skin, giving it an instant glow and brightness, all while reducing wrinkles and fine lines.

The injection is performed with U255 mesogen instrument. The French made U225 is the most refined and largely used Mesotherapy injector available on the market at this time. This electric mesogun produces very minimal trauma to the skin and is nearly painless.

In order to get the most favorable results, we recommend a series of treatments. For facial Rejuvenation 4 treatments are required at 2 to 3 week intervals. It is one of the most popular mesotherapy treatments, as satisfied patients notice a substantial and significant improvement in their facial appearance.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effect of Mesotherapy is bruising. Not to worry, bruising generally fades over the course of one week. However, if you would like to speed up the healing process, we would advise that the supplement Arnica be taken either orally or applied topically on a daily basis. Patients may experience short-term soreness. This will subside within 24-48 hours.

The micro incisions in the skin created by microneedling will close in 10 -15 minutes after the treatment resulting in a low risk of infection.

Microneedling revitalizes the skin’s appearance and quality without scar formation and a low risk of Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation.

The exceptional safety profile of electrical micro-needling has resulted in this technique quickly becoming a forefront for the medical esthetic treatment in the field of skin rejuvenation and scar treatment in Europe and Asia – and now in Canada!
